Imagine a very well-dressed man in a Brooks Brothers suit. Everything was perfect until he crosses his leg and you can see white socks with Nike logo peeking through the hem of his trousers.
White socks were popular in the eighties. People wore them with pretty much everything from bermudas to tailored pants. We know how eighties was quite a scary decade for fashion. Would you wear football jersey to work? It is pretty much the same situation if you are wearing white socks to work. Black socks always work even with other colored pants. It’s always best to match your socks to your pants, the same way that you match you leather belt and shoes.
