Euro 2012 is here. We’re sure you have seen zombies walking all around you especially in the morning back at the office. If you are not one of them that is. Staying up late watching the game and waking up the next day at 6am to go to work? Crazy huh? Well not for all these football fanatics. We’ve heard of those who took football mania to a whole different level by taking a month-long leave to ‘focus’ on Euro 2012′!

But for all of you football fans (read: fans not fanatics), we have a few simple tips to help you stay fresh in the morning after a night of cheering for your favorite team. Okay let’s not use the word ‘fresh’, but we can assure that you will feel much better than those colleagues of yours who passed out in the toilet during lunch hour.

So here are a few pointers on how to survive this football season.

1. Go to bed early. The game will not start until late at night, so you might want to consider having a very early dinner and hit the sack by 8pm. Set your alarm clock or automatic switch-on on your TV set.

2. You don ‘t have to watch every match. We’re pretty sure you have your own favorite teams. Print out the schedule and cross out the match that you don’t want to watch. Use that particular night to get your good eight hours of sleep instead.

3. Did you know that you can actually record the games if you are an Astro Beyond subscriber? Even if you aren’t, there must must be a way to watch all the matches that you have missed online. Search for Euro 2012 channel on Youtube.

Well your love for football is one thing, but risking your health and your job for it is just not acceptable. Do yourself a favor and please survive this football season.
