Shining Stars at Teen Choice Awards 2012

Okay. So it’s Teen Choice Awards. Most of us don’t even bother to watch or even find out the result because we know the likes of Bieber, Gomez and Kardashian will conquer the entire ceremony. We cannot blame these kids tho’. They are still young, they voted for their favorites and it’s all about having fun.

Well at least the red-carpet is still worth talking about. Just don’t expect to see anything “Mad Men” or too GQ-ish on the male celebs. These young stars dressed up their age and some of them looked surprisingly good even with their simple t-shirts and jeans. It’s summer and everyone seems happy. Isn’t it all that matters?

Bieber rocked this camo and white combo with his signature high-tops. White shoes on white pants is a bit too matchy-matchy. Perhaps a pair grey or olive high-tops is a much better option.

Kevin McHale of Glee hosted the show alongside Demi Lovato that night. He did quite a great job. Just like Biebs, McHale also rocked the camo but our eyes are on his paneled shirt.

Ian Somerholder looked every inch like a rebellious biker guy who has just got off his bike and took off his leather jackets, helmets and gloves before stepping onto the red (pink) carpet.

Another star in a simple t-shirt. Darren Criss’s white tee is a little bit too basic for red carpet. The look was a bit too undone.

Love everything about this look on will.i.am particularly those delicious pair of Louboutins!

Jackson Rathbone look is an example of perfect balance for the red carpet. The button front is definitely more polished than a t-shirt but at the same time the pants and boots provided just enough ruggedness to complete the look.

Just like Jackson, Chris Colfer of Glee also managed his red-carpet look right down to a tee but his look leaned more towards preppy and retro with Morissey-coif and two-tone shoes.

Now which one is your favorite look from the red carpet of Teen Choice Awards?
