The genre originated in the theater around 1860 by combining three main elements: plot, interpretation and of course music!

In film, the first musical film emerged only in 1927 and took a few more years for that style also migrated to television.

3. Nashville

5. Star

Star had his first season with twelve episodes aired between December 2016 and March 2017. The second season will premiere forecast for September.

The series follows three supertalentosas singers exploring the music industry and trying to achieve success. The episodes feature original songs and performances of the characters imagining his future as stars.

6. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is an American comedy series and have Rebecca Bunch as the protagonist. Rebecca is a young lawyer in New York who, to be reunited with Josh, her former boyfriend, decides to drop everything and move to the city where he lives in California.
